How does the process work?

Once you have made initial contact either by phone or email we will arrange a mutually convenient time and location for a Mediation Initial Assessment Meeting (MIAM).  This meeting will last no more than one hour.

The aim of the MIAM is for both the Mediator and client to explore and assess if Mediation will be right for them in their circumstances and to discuss the process of Mediation more fully.

Once both parties have completed their individual MIAM, a first joint Mediation session will be arranged.

There is no limit on the number of Mediation sessions clients may want or need.

Some clients may be eligible for Legal Aid for Mediation.
